PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Acadia Healthcare, a nationwide provider of behavioral healthcare services, is looking for a full-time content writer for its consumer marketing team. The role includes creating content for facility websites, blogs, profiles, press releases, and collateral.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Able to create informative, engaging content targeted toward a variety of audiences.
  • Able to create unique, original, high-quality content based on agreed-upon standards, facility brand positioning, and operational strategy.
  • Able to successfully use AI platforms for content creation.
  • Willing to use AI platforms for approximately 50% of content creation.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Able to keep up with a fast-paced, rapidly shifting environment.
  • Able to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.
  • Willingness to learn and research various areas of the behavioral healthcare field and appropriately implement that information into writing.
  • Able to take charge when needed, own mistakes, take direction, and receive critical feedback.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Proficient in AI content creation platforms.
  • Background in writing content for the field of mental health and addiction preferred.

RECOMMENDED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or related field

Master's degree or related field; not preferred
