What Is MyBambu?
MyBambu is a financial institution delivering the first all-in-one mobile digital banking solution targeting the Hispanic unbanked and underbanked population. The mission of MyBambu is to promote financial inclusion to the unbanked and underbanked by providing an array of financial solutions delivered via mobile devices. We give an overlooked audience a convenient, safe, and cost-effective way of managing their finances. MyBambu participates in E-verify and will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new hire's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization. Your Opportunity:
This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As a Content Creator you will be responsible for developing engaging and informative content across various digital platforms to promote MyBambu products/services, educate our audience, and enhance the MyBambu brand.
Job Responsibilities

  • Content Quality, Creativity, and Consistency:
    • Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content that aligns with the brand's goals and target audience while demonstrating a creative mindset to generate innovative ideas.
    • Maintain a consistent content production schedule, including script creation, pre-production planning, production, and post-production.
  • Adaptability and Brand Alignment:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and adapt content strategies accordingly to remain relevant and ensure that the content reflects the brand's values, messaging, and overall identity.
  • Multimedia Skills and SEO Knowledge:
    • Possess skills in creating various types of content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, depending on the platform.
    • Understand basic principles of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to enhance the discoverability of content and stay informed about technological trends and algorithms on digital media platforms.
  • Analytics, Collaboration, and Storytelling:
    • Understand metrics and make data-driven content decisions to analyze effectiveness and make improvements.
    • Collaborate with team members, departments, or influencers to enhance content reach and impact while developing effective storytelling skills to connect with the audience emotionally.
  • Research Skills and Platform Knowledge:
    • Conduct research to stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences while staying knowledgeable about platform features and best practices for content distribution.
  • Professionalism, Feedback Incorporation, and Specific Responsibilities:
    • Maintain a professional online presence and adhere to ethical standards in content creation while accepting and incorporating constructive feedback to continually improve content quality.
    • Create compelling and relevant content for various digital channels, conduct research, collaborate with teams for consistency, optimize content for SEO, manage content calendars, and contribute to creative strategies and video projects, including planning, execution, editing, and equipment management.


Skill and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in video shoot and editing, and incorporating graphics, text, vfx and sfx into video edits.
  • Knowledge in the elaboration of scripts and storyboards for social media post.
  • Familiarity with producing content for social media channels and other digital platforms.
  • Produce the tasks by using Adobe Premier Pro primarily. Other platforms/animation tools may be implemented based on requirements. Skilled using the overall Adobe Suite Platform (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Audition)
  • Detail-oriented in producing a highly polished video.
  • High proficiency in video production and equipment.
  • Highly organized, able to self-manage your work schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Ability to receive creative direction and handle criticism related to work.
  • Capable of managing projects from start to finish, overseeing timelines and deadlines, and handling client communications related to video projects.
  • Languages: Bilingual in Spanish/English a mixed of these.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and other related industry-standard


Job Requirements:

  • Must submit reel together with your CV.
  • Language proficiency: Spanish is required.
  • Operate camera equipment to shoot high-quality videos and photos.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, preferred.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of content types and formats, including articles, blogs, social media posts, videos, and infographics.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
