POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for creating a consistent and engaging 'voice' for the bank. Developing and expanding upon means of conveying that 'voice' throughout the bank and to the community within the bank's footprint. Maintains a high-quality level of work that is related to all business units and banking centers at 1st Source Bank. He/she works with the in-house marketing team to create and collaborate on strategy-driven content, ideation and execution of content including the responsibility of personal workflow and coordinating with the workflow of others.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Creates and maintains the 1st Source brand message consistently and with memory making impact through storytelling.

Ensures creative output that supports the overall strategic objectives and goals.

Establishes a vision and oversight for all projects which will have multi-purpose media approaches.

Works directly with the marketing team on developing multiple executions of marketing materials from concept to completion, including:

  • printing materials (brochures, ads, banners, posters, direct mail and other collateral),
  • content for video (filming and editing/post-production),
  • content for web,
  • compliance materials (disclosures),
  • financial materials (annual reports, proxy statements, quarterly shareholder letters, investment profiles)

Stays current with marketing trends and technology.

Manages multi-discipline creative projects from concept to completion that may involve multiple areas of influence within the bank.

Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.

Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with its requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of seven (7) + years of experience in design.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud beneficial.
  • Familiarity in working in or for a highly regulated industry (financial, medical, governmental, etc.).
  • Has in-depth knowledge of building content to create customer-centric marketing.

SKILLS

Strong project management skills would be ideal.

Proven wordsmithing and conceptualization skills.

Photography and/or illustration skills are a plus.

An "eye for design" is a plus.

Commitment to high-quality work and builds positive and productive relationships.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to share ideas constructively and work collaboratively with all project stakeholders.

Versatile and handle multiple ongoing projects with the ability to prioritize,

Maintains self-motivation and works independently as well as in team environments.

Web content creation.

Detail-oriented and works within determined timelines.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree preferred; communication/ journalism majors a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel for meetings, projects or training.
