The IBM mainframe (Z Systems) is responsible for most credit card transactions and is used by the many of the top insurers banks retailers and airlines.
IBM z/OS® is an operating system with highly secure and scalable hypervisor and virtualization technology designed to run Linux® z/OS® z/VSE® and z/TPF virtual machines as well as Red Hat® OpenShift® on IBM zSystems™ and IBM LinuxONE servers. z/OS provides a highly secure and scalable environment for efficiently running critical Linux applications with support for more Linux virtual servers than any other platform in a single footprint.
The z/OS team is a worldwide team primarily located in Poughkeepsie NY with expansion plans in Bangalore India. All phases of the software life cycle are performed within this team including the design development test performance as well as supporting the product in the field with customers. Agile methodologies are used throughout the life cycle.
We are looking for qualified development manager candidates to be part of our IBM Z Software organisation specially in the areas of zAIOps. Key Skills include People Management Project / Release Management Customer Engagement and driving organisation initiatives.

Technical content is the backbone of our client’s digital self-service experience and is essential for client retention and growth. Your Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience working with both internal and external clients. The content developer will synthesize product information to create a variety of customer-facing information deliverables. Not only will you help develop and test critical product content but you will grow your experience and skills in areas including new automated workflow offerings content solutions and a wide array of IBM Enterprise Design Thinking

- Ability to write accurate clear and concise documentation for global audience.
- Ability to design develop edit and produce accurate and effective technical documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across remote teams and time zones.
- Ability to work with Subject matter experts and understand technical concepts.
- Experience with XML or DITA tagging languages.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills.
- Ability to gather data draw insights and problem solve.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to use and contribute to shared source repositories such as GitHub.
- Ability to leverage IBM Design Thinking practices.
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycle.
- Familiar with DevOps and a variety of software engineering concept
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Candidates having Systems exposure and especially with IBM Z/Mainframe Systems are preferred
