About the Role:

We are looking for an individual with a passion for creating technical training materials.

The Content Developer is a member of the Altium Training group responsible for the creation and delivery of industry leading instruction on Altium’s products. The content is aimed at enabling customers to fully utilize our product features and capabilities with best practices. The development of customer training materials is a fundamental element contributing to the sustained success and long-term growth of Altium. This includes the creation of Technical Training Documents, as well as the production of engaging technical video and audio content.

A Day in The Life of Our Content Developer:

• Maintain knowledge of all Altium Designer Content, provided to Altium customers for On-demand and Instructor-Led Trainings (ILT)
• Stay updated on all upcoming new features and functionality in Altium Designer
• Create documentation for new Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and On-demand content
• Ensure ongoing updates to existing training content to align with software changes and updates
• Maintain and develop video and audio content including scripts, video storyboards, project examples and independently create technical video series
• Collaborate with internal departments for new product features and development

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

• Must have: 2+ years previous experience as a technical content creator
• Must have: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must have: fluent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Preferred experience with Audacity or OBS or Camtasia
• Preferred experience of e-learning platforms
• Preferred experience of Altium Designer, Altium products or any other electronic design software
• Preferred experience of PCB Design
