Description and Requirements
Position Summary
The MIS executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the GOSC IT Function's information systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility. The MIS executive will also analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of the information systems and provide technical support and guidance to the users and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities

  • Create and update MIS reports on a regular basis using data from various sources, systems and internal teams.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the data and reports.
  • Analyze and interpret the data and reports to identify trends, patterns, and issues.
  • Present and communicate the findings and recommendations to the functional leaders and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • As applicable and required, collaborate with other departments and teams to understand their data and reporting needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for data management and reporting.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the MIS reporting process.
  • Having knowledge of content development, newsletters etc.


Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education
Bachelor's degree in information systems, or related field
Experience
(In Years)

  • 2-3 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence


Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other data analysis and reporting tools and software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and quality orientation.
  • Knowledge of the industry and business processes.
  • Proficient in MIS and reporting. using various platforms and tools such as MS Access, Excel, Power BI etc.
  • Good hands-on power point presentation or equivalent tool for data presentation.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
