Who we're looking for

We’re looking for a seasoned and creative writer and editor to serve as our content manager. The ideal candidate should have the ability to think about content development from a bird’s-eye view, and can build and optimize content that resonates throughout a buyer’s experience. They will be leading projects through its entire lifecycle, collaborating closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders. 

The content manager will be a key member of the content marketing team and reports directly to the head of content marketing. The team oversees the content development across Lookout’s portfolio of products and audiences, ensuring that the corporate brand voice, style, and tone are met. It collaborates closely with the global campaigns and product marketing teams to develop end-to-end campaigns to achieve Lookout’s brand awareness and revenue generation goals. 

Key responsibilities

  • Support content initiatives that that achieves corporate objectives across campaigns, product launches, and tactical programs
  • Produce high quality and relevant marketing assets that resonates with target audiences, including infographics, videos, blogs, webinars, white papers, and ebooks
  • Develop, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including customer newsletters and internal emails, as well as website copy
  • Partner with subject matter experts to produce content that elevates the company’s thought leadership and supports pipeline growth 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that project timelines are accurately set and met
  • Manage and optimize content across marketing for storytelling effectiveness as well as measurable success such as audience growth and lead generation

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience creating thought-leadership and lead-generation content at B2B companies, preferably in SaaS and/or cybersecurity
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, communications, or a related field
  • Excellent storytelling, editing and proofreading skills, and an ability to distill complex concepts into engaging and accessible content
  • Proven success in building and optimizing content to achieve measurable impact on brand awareness and revenue generation
  • A good understanding of how search engine optimization (SEO) plays into content success
  • Know how to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Understands the big picture without losing site of the details
  • A team player who is able to take and provide constructive feedback
