Content Marketing Coordinator

Summary of the Content Marketing Position:

Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, the Content Marketing Coordinator will mainly be responsible for writing and editing B2B Content Marketing elements such as blogs, emails, social media posts, and more for both Leadit Marketing and our ever changing roster of clients.

This is a paid, full-time, position. Due to current COVID regulations, this position is a work-from-home, telecommute position. However, we are limiting geographic location to the Dallas area only.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing and executing written content including but not limited to long- and short-form blogs, emails, social media posts, eBooks, White Papers, website copy, videos, product descriptions and other demand generation or thought leadership content.
• Ensure that all written content is SEO optimized using on-page best practices.
• Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice, tone and personality for each of our clients.
• Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement.
• Publish/post content to client CMSs and social media properties as needed.
• Identify and track industry trends, influencers, and topics of interest as they relate to key corporate messages in order to develop related content strategies. 
• Work collaboratively with members of the Marketing team and others across the company in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. 
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research on clients in order to inform and/or influence content topics, story angles, etc.
• Manage, coordinate and schedule external writing vendors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, budget and according to scope requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree relating to:
  • Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or PR
• 2+ years of professional experience in a writing-based role
• A portfolio of previous B2B, Demand-Gen, or Thought Leadership writing, and/or links to real world examples of your work

• Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices as it relates to writing
• Excellent writing and proofing skills
• Exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and consultative selling skills
• Proficiency in Google Apps
• Agency experience preferred but not required
