About You:

  • You are a storyteller that loves to design new and creative ways to communicate and engage with an audience
  • You want to work with, build, and grow a team of content marketers who produce world-class content for a new category in a fast-paced industry
  • You enjoy translating technical subject matter into customer-facing content (technical background a plus).
  • You love using metrics and research to plan and create content that drives ROI while delighting and educating readers. 
  • You are a leader that enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to build highly engaging content.
  • You have a deep understanding of personas, the marketing funnel, and the buyer’s journey to support demand generation and account-based marketing campaigns.

What skills do I need? 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in writing/content marketing/communications and working in/writing about B2B technologies
  • 2+ years managing a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complicated concepts clearly and concisely
  • A quick learner able to understand the manufacturing industry (prior industry knowledge is desirable but not required)
  • Self-starter, highly collaborative, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial team player ready to move fast, learn from mistakes, and help build the next big thing in manufacturing
  • Ability to track, report, and analyze KPIs to drive content strategy
  • Experience working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to co-develop long and short-form content 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Mentor and grow a team of high-performing content writers and creators
  • Develop and run content campaigns, adapting content to different formats including blog posts, case studies,webinars, social media, PR, newsletters, and others
  • Work with executives on thought leadership content for social, articles, and video series.
  • Collaborate with our research team to use the data of Tulip's platform to produce proprietary research
  • Ongoing analysis of editorial performance - clicks, views, etc., and report on earned media targets, including company and brand awareness goals through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
