In this position, you’ll play an integral role on the Tessera Data Marketing Team, using your creative communication and project management skills to help develop our content strategy across the funnel.
As the Content Marketing Manager for Tessera Data, you will be responsible for strategic planning and direction of the Content Marketing strategy in partnership with the Head of Marketing, as well as the day-to-day execution of high-impact content materials and editorial plans. We are seeking a creative content marketer who can excite through storytelling in words, pictures, and video.Â
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with and build relationships with internal and external subject-matter experts to drive marketing strategies and measurable results.Â
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders to brainstorm and research subjects for content that will target audiences and drive awareness for Tessera.
- Influence and maintain the editorial calendar to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Write, edit, and publish high-impact content across a variety of mediums, including multimedia articles and blog posts, guides, infographics, emails, videos, webinars, speaking topics & presentations, and sales enablement materials.Â
- Create content that educates, influences, activates, and monetizes engagement across all programs and audience segments. At Tessera, our audiences range from consumer reporting agencies to Trust & Safety professionals, to buyers interested in mitigating identity fraud.
- Leverage SEO recommendations to develop content ideas and optimize content.
- Partner with RevOps to analyze the impact of your work on organic website traffic and other customer engagement metrics.
- Refresh existing content to keep it up-to-date and on brand.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, PR, Marketing/Business, or a related communications field; 3+ years of experience in digital publishing or marketing.
- Experience with creating compelling B2B messaging and content for different target demographics, across multiple channels.
- Experience building content that targets all stages of the marketing funnel
- Skilled at both long-form content creation (white papers, webinars, blogs) and short-form/real-time content creation (e.g., social posts) and their varied distribution strategies and tactics.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics for leveraging content to increase demand/leads
- Experience with keyword placement and other SEO best practices; experience with SEO analytics platforms (Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc.); appetite for owning your impact (whether successes or failures/learning opportunities).
- Effective project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines, both for yourself as well as for contracted freelance resources.
- A passion for technology, learning, and staying on the cutting edge of your field.
- Familiarity working with content management systems.
- Demonstrate strong organization and communication skills, teamwork, resourcefulness, accountability, and outstanding attention to detail.
- Great “people skills" and the ability to build cross-functional relationships. You aren’t afraid to ask questions and look for new and compelling story angles and topic ideas.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $73,980 - $153,985.
