We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to drive the development and execution of our firm's content strategy. The ideal candidate will have a high digital IQ and minimum of 5 years of professional marketing experience developing and managing content to support brand communications, and lead generation. The role traverses marketing content, subject matter expertise content, and thought leadership. The role includes creation, curation, and distribution of compelling, relevant content across all channels including sales, marketing and partner channels. The role is critical to the success of the marketing team as it is content and thought leadership that fuel the marketing engines in terms of building brand, markets, and new business.
What You’ll Do- Content strategy and campaign owner with expectations to develop, manage, curate, and optimize content by collaborating with team members and external creative partners
- Produce high-quality educational articles, white papers, blogs, case studies, email marketing campaigns, ad campaigns, presentations, videos, webinars, and website content
- Build and maintain content inventory and library
- Edit content produced by the team, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with our company's brand
- Maintain a content roadmap and calendar of all content and thought leadership aligning with business goals and demand generation efforts
- Create and edit web content
- Manage all content publishing toolsÂ
- Create content for all marketing campaigns including social, email, and web landing pages
- Create a thought leadership program – SMEs, topics, white papers, research, distribution, etc. with a planned cadence and expectations from SMEs
- Analyze the performance of content and determine best next steps for each initiative and campaign
- Proven work experience as a content marketer
- An editorial mindset and ability to align messaging with audience preferences
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results across multiple deadlines
- Understanding of content management software and tools
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in high growth, start-up environmentsÂ
- An unbeatable attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude with ability to partner with members across the organization
- Digital marketing experience including social media and websiteÂ
- Excellent presentation skills including PowerPoint Or Google
- Graphic design skills a big plus
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics a plus
- Experience working with agencies a plus
- Ability to lead executive messaging sessions a plus
- Comfort with software tools eg Trello, Google, Confluence, etc
- Experience with SFDC and Marketing Automation Required
- Post secondary education in a related field
- Anticipated Travel: 10%
- Location Options: Remote, East Coast preferred
- Base Salary Range: $70-90k
