Content Marketing Manager

About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We are seeking a creative, results-oriented individual with proven content experience to take on the exciting new role of a Content Marketing Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Editor, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact content programs to reach our demand generation goals on a global scale and advance Fivetran's position as the leader in cloud data movement. The candidate will develop a deep understanding of our corporate and product messaging and contribute to our overall content marketing strategy and planning. The role partners closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, Product and more.
This is a full-time position based out of our Denver office or remote for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Serve as an exemplary writer, ensuring content is consistent with our company's tone and mission
• Produce and repurpose high-quality blogs, white papers, infographics, survey reports, web copy and presentation content to serve more audiences and needs
• Work with subject matter experts as needed to gather source material and technical expertise
• Maintain our editorial calendar and work with the Managing Editor to shape Fivetran's blog coverage
• Measure and improve content performance to ultimately drive traffic and engagement that translates into sales and brand promotion
• Manage our repository of content by solution, topic, format and where in the funnel it helps most

Skills We're Looking For

• 5+ years experience in a B2B content role
• Proven ability to write high-quality, long-form content on complex topics
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and perform in a fast-moving startup environment
• Results-oriented; an uncompromising approach to hitting deadlines and achieving results under pressure
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Demonstrated ability to work productively and collaboratively with counterparts in cross-functional capacity
• Passion and strong understanding of the data industry
