About the Role
As the Content Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our storytelling endeavors. This includes spearheading the development of our Voice of the Customer program and crafting top-notch, engaging content across a wide array of formats. You'll be involved in producing blog posts, articles, case studies, technical posts, web and ad copy, video scripts, infographics, third-party research, and more. You will be responsible for creating and managing written and multimedia content that attracts, engages, and converts our target audiences and account segments. This also includes relaying customer narratives and successes to the market. You will conduct in-depth interviews with our valued customers to gain insights into their experiences, challenges, and successes. Collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions teams, you'll drive compelling market, solution, and customer narratives. Your extensive experience in scaling customer programs positions you to make a significant impact on our brand's journey here at Envoy.
This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ
You will
- Craft compelling narratives from customer interviews, transforming their experiences into engaging stories that resonate with our target audience.
- Elevate our brand's messaging by harnessing the power of customer voices, infusing authenticity and relatability into our content through Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights.
- Work closely with our Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, and Content team to bring market-in and customer-in perspectives in your storytelling initiatives
- Make sure content is aligned with brand and messaging guidelines and optimized for SEO.Â
- Create persuasive assets such as testimonials, case studies, videos, customer guides, and ROI narratives.Â
- Create compelling assets that highlight customers’ stories in any format (written, videos, etc)Â
- Creatively bring our customer stories to life, supporting our demand generation, media, press, web, digital, and overall brand strategies with social proof
- Demonstrate customer obsession by enabling our internal teams and evangelizing the power of advocacy
- Maintain a repository of referenceable customers for use in marketing and sales efforts.
- Work with Solutions Marketing and Marketing Ops to understand, segment, and target customer personas
- Optimize content for search engines to increase organic visibility and drive traffic.
- Track and analyze the performance of content marketing efforts in partnership with marketing operations and analytics teamsteam using relevant metrics and tools. Make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategy ongoing.
- Create customer surveys and feedback channels to build social proof, highlight key customer trends, and improve the product feedback loop
You have
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the SaaS B2B sector, showcasing a proven track record in crafting compelling narratives, writing persuasive content, and successfully establishing Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs and associated assets.
- Proficient in crafting engaging content tailored to different stages of the customer journey, including Top of Funnel (TOFU), Middle of Funnel (MOFU), and Bottom of Funnel (BOFU) content.Â
- Demonstrated ability to create content that resonates with various industries and target account segments
- Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams to successfully launch and promote content in the market, ensuring a cohesive and effective content strategy that aligns with key goals.
- Deep experience in content optimization and writing for a wide range of mediums
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers, and internal teams including executives, Customer Experience, Sales, Corporate Marketing & Campaigns and Solutions Marketing teams
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and a desire to meet/exceed deadlines
- Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

- Proficient in creating high-quality written content that effectively communicates value propositions, customer success stories, and key messages.
- Adept at conducting customer interviews with finesse, extracting valuable insights, and distilling them into compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Collaborative and experienced in working with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to capture and quantify Return on Investment (ROI) metrics from customer interactions, enhancing the credibility of our content and assets.

Compensation descriptionÂ
Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $111,000-$131,000. Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
