Content Marketing Manager - Web Copywriter

RELEX Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Web Copywriter to join our Content Marketing team. This is a full-time position for someone with extensive experience writing for B2B SaaS audiences. Our new web copywriter must be eager to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and the RELEX software offering in order to drive conversion through compelling, impactful copy. A solid understanding of core SEO best practices is fundamental to success in this position.

Our future web copywriter will work on a wide range of project types, from major website messaging updates to landing page and social media copy. You’ll work closely with:

• The Digital Marketing and Brand & Creative teams, who guide the strategy to improve online performance and user experience
• The Global Programs and North American Field Marketing teams, who organize many of our high-impact and high-need projects
• The Product Marketing team, who helps us understand our audience and guides our product messaging
• RELEX subject matter experts, who share their industry experience and expertise
• Our team of 6 US-based Content Marketers, who work collaboratively to ensure we’re publishing the best possible work while maintaining a manageable workload balance

What your tasks will include:

• Ensuring SEO-optimized website copy attracts prospects, then moves them through the marketing funnel
• Developing landing pages and email marketing campaigns that drive conversion for high-impact events and campaigns
• Creating email templates for use by the global Sales organization in outreach
• Collaborating with the Digital Marketing team to connect RELEX content to audiences through well-crafted social posts and paid advertisements
• Building your own product and industry expertise and working closely with subject matter experts to ensure messaging aligns with RELEX’s best practice recommendations
• Sharing your writing expertise with teammates and colleagues to collaboratively support their projects as needed, including event messaging and materials, video scripts, and more
• Communicating clearly with other Content Marketers around project strategy and execution to ensure efficient collaboration and streamline workloads wherever possible

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience in web copywriting for B2B SaaS audiences
• Understanding of search engine optimization, with an active interest in staying on top of content creation trends that support SEO performance
• Strong project management skills, with ability to set, communicate, and meet clear deadlines
• Ability to continuously center the customer and their needs in marketing copy; an eagerness to bridge the gap between a product message and a customer need
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on project need
• In all things, the curiosity and excitement to continuously evolve practices, test new ideas, and evaluate impact is key to success on this small, but highly motivated and engaged team

What we consider a bonus:

• Experience with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and SEMRush
• Experience in and understanding of retail and supply chain management (including for wholesale and consumer goods companies)
• Experience in video scripting, filming, and editing
