Job Description:
The Content Specialist, Growth Content will be an integral part of the Growth Content team supporting critical content management, operations, reporting, and writing projects. This person will ensure the team is running smoothly and be accountable for publishing and tracking written and video/multimedia content across multiple channels. This includes ownership of internal content newsletters, creating and managing resource hubs in tools like Seismic, collaborating across content teams, and owning the content production and publishing calendar. They will also help the team source important insights around content performance to help make strategic decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to start their career in content and communications by learning the fundamentals of managing content, enjoys writing for a variety of audiences in a variety of formats, and wants to be part of an exciting team responsible for helping Workhuman grow.
Responsibilities:
  • Help maintain content platforms from internal enablement systems to Workhuman.com, ensuring all content is published, tagged, and presented in ways that are easy to navigate, find, and track.
  • Publish new content and send related, applicable communications to stakeholders.
  • Write and send News You Can Use/marketing newsletter updates.
  • Write content like key takeaways for webinars and internal videos, enablement materials for our prospect- and customer-facing teams, and other critical writing projects in line with the team's and company's KPIs.

  • Help optimize existing content and ensure all assets are up-to-date
  • Manage editorial calendar and asset production, including project management, organizing references and resources, collaborating with graphic designers, proofreading, and assigning deadlines.
  • Attend relevant meetings and internal and external webinars, and follow industry trends, to become an expert on Workhuman's value prop, brand, and messaging, as well as topics our buyers care about.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years' experience in a journalism, content, or other communications role - including internships
  • Journalism, Public Relations, or other Marketing degrees preferred but not required
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver - proven ability to tackle complex challenges with limited resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Commitment and attention to quality, detail, accuracy, and consistency

  • Eager to learn and grow, take on new challenges, and be an integral part of our Growth Content team
  • Bachelor's degree required
