Content Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive media relations strategies, including press releases, media pitches and securing industry awards and speaking engagements.
- Manage the company's social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and community management
- Contribute to content creation efforts by writing blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, email newsletters and other marketing collateral as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create multimedia content like customer and product videos, webinars, podcasts and more
- Establish a strong presence on key third-party platforms such as HotelTechReport and other marketplaces
- Continually maintain and update our library of on-brand messaging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for consistent messagingÂ
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to improve our brand reach
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform communication & content strategies
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery against deadlines and project milestones
- Identify opportunities to showcase internal thought leadership through social media initiatives
- Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and elevate the brand's presenceÂ
Qualifications:
- Experience in content marketing, ideally with a focus on B2B marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in content marketing or corporate communications, preferably in the technology or hospitality industry
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Solid grasp and practical experience in SEO and web traffic analytics.
- Knowledge of content marketing tools like Google Analytics, keyword research, and project management software.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
