The Role
Do you like making social network apps a safe and enjoyable platform for users to connect? PartnerHero is looking for a Content Moderator Level 1 who will help promote a safe, authentic, and accepting environment on the platform. You will be accountable for applying the partner's community guidelines to content submitted by its users. This role involves monitoring and identifying potentially harmful content, assessing whether it complies with the guidelines, and filtering out anything inappropriate. This will consist of independently and manually reviewing a high volume of items in the backend.
Important Note: Please be aware that you will come across content that could be offensive or disturbing.

What You’ll Do:
- Providing excellent, friendly, and positive customer service via email
- Helping to enforce and ensure compliance with the Community Guidelines for one of the industry-leading dating apps
- Helping customers solve problems with strong reading comprehension, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinkingÂ
- Savvy with web, computer, and smartphonesÂ
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Reporting discrepancies in processes to the Team Leads and upper management
- Collaborating directly with the Trust & Safety Team to escalate sensitive users’ concerns and requests for further investigationÂ

What We Expect From You:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Content Moderation or Customer Support roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable making decisions with limited information available
- Experience moderating offensive and disturbing content is a plusÂ
- You’re culturally, socially, and politically aware and are a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ communityÂ
