As a Content & Social Media Marketing Manager at BetterCloud, you will be the voice behind our brand. You'll craft narratives that engage, educate, and inspire our audience, while collaborating with various teams to align content strategies with our marketing goals. Your words will play a pivotal role in shaping BetterCloud’s brand.

About You

• 3 - 5 years of experience in crafting engaging B2B marketing content, preferably in a B2B technology-focused environment or agency setting.
• Experience managing and growing organic and paid social channels for a B2B company.
• Proven track record of creating impactful content supported by both data and persuasive prose.
• Utilization of generative AI as part of your day to day content creation and improvement processes.
• Strong writing portfolio showcasing a variety of short- and long-form content.
• Experience with content strategy and execution, including successful content repurposing.
• Familiarity with content management systems and repository organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with subject matter experts to create content tailored to various demographics.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Bonus: Experience writing for technical audiences, such as IT professionals.

What You’ll Do 

• Create high-quality, impactful marketing content across all stages of the buyer journey, asset types and delivery channels.
• Be the voice of our brand in social channels, growing and cultivating a social presence for BetterCloud with content that engages our audience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align content strategies with business objectives.
• Refine and optimize content based on data-driven insights and current industry best practices, such as blog traffic or social media engagement, to continually improve performance. 
• Identify opportunities to refresh, repurpose and amplify existing content to maximize reach and engagement.
• Uphold brand voice, style, and ensure content is optimized for organic search and user engagement.
• Research, fact-check, and maintain editorial guidelines for all content.
• Own our content map and editorial calendar. Manage scheduling and publication of content and promotion of content, in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Incorporate new and modern industry trends, regulations, competitive insight, and news to maximize content relevance and accuracy.

Salary: 

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

This salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations.
