Spaulding Ridge is looking for a Content Strategist to join our Marketing team!
You are a creative writer and organized project manager. You understand how content fits within a broader B2B marketing strategy. You’re comfortable writing about the intersection of business and technology in a wide range of industries. You’re a rock star who can build solid working relationships with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
We are a growing consulting company that implements leading business technologies, serves multiple industries and regions, and manages a wide range of communications channels. We use our content to validate our expertise to clients and to our alliance partners. We focus on how technology drives outcomes for businesses and their people. And we keep our values front and center in everything we do.
Together, we’re looking to establish Spaulding Ridge’s brand through compelling multi-channel content, centering our technical abilities, our on-the-ground industry experience, and our commitment to making an impact for our clients and for the greater good.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage Spaulding Ridge’s marketing content calendar to keep our content in line with our go-to-market strategy.
- Develop both short- and long-form marketing content including thought leadership articles, sponsored content, blog posts, research-based reports, press releases, video scripts, web copy, emails, and more.
- Serve as a people manager within the marketing team, coaching early career professionals in writing and professional skills.
- Partner with our leaders and subject matter experts to create thought-provoking content that appeals to our key personas and industries.
- Understand our buyer personas and key industry trends to make sure content moves prospects forward in the buying cycle.
- Help manage our marketing technology stack, including tools related to SEO, content management, project management, and analytics.
- Assist other members of Spaulding Ridge in developing internal and external communications, as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing in IT Consulting, SaaS, or another technology-focused B2B field.
- Ability to turn complex technical information into clear and compelling copy.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage longer-term projects and shorter-term deliverables and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Interpersonal skills to build strong internal relationships with senior leadership and subject matter experts.
- Writing, proofreading, and attention to detail skills able to meet the high standards of B2B communications.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems, SEO, and web traffic metrics.
- Skill with long-tail keyword research and the associated tools.
Preferable qualifications include:
- Previous experience with WordPress, SEMRush, Asana, 6Sense, and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of channel-based marketing and sales trends.
- Knowledge of enterprise technology for finance and revenue operations, with knowledge of Anaplan, Salesforce, DocuSign, and/or OneStream a significant plus.
- Graphic design ability, preferably including Adobe InDesign.
