About the job

Join us for an exciting opportunity as anContent Strategist/Integrated Content Lead on our Marketing and Communications team in Reston, VA. Bring your creativity and innovative ideas to help us identify and create content using a variety of formats across our communications channels. This individual will play a critical role in designing ASRC Federal communications and is at the intersection of internal and external communications, working with the teams to strategize and develop content, coordinate and synchronize output across ASRC Federal channels to tell a cohesive, authentic and compelling story and enable strong positioning of ASRC Federal's brand for stakeholders. This is a hybrid/primarily remote opportunity within local distance to Reston, VA - ideal candidate should reside in the DMV area.

Requirements

  • Develop engaging communications campaigns and content in coordination with our marketing and communications team, including blogs, case studies, news articles, company communications, intranet and mobile app, etc., while recognizing and discerning unique and compelling elements and key messages.
  • Uncover stories and opportunities to showcase our company brand and culture.
  • Collaborate with team members across Marketing and Communications to identify opportunities to scale content across multiple communications channels.
  • Ensure seamless, on-brand communications in alignment with business priorities and content best practices.
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar while leveraging standardized processes in a communications workflow management tool.
  • Provide editorial content and strategic recommendations for projects while ensuring consistency with content standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of nuanced differences of communications to various stakeholders.
  • Execute the end-to-end content creation and delivery process, from collecting input from multiple sources to the delivery of content for approval by business stakeholders.
  • Brainstorm content ideas and formats based on interviews with ASRC Federal subject matter experts, competitive research, SEO research, and market trends.
  • Ensure proactive content governance and maintenance processes, including tone and voice guidelines, to ensure consistency, timeliness, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Adhere to style guide and editorial procedures for written content.
  • Build relationships across the company to uncover stories and opportunities to share knowledge and build affinity for ASRC Federal among employees.
  • Ability to recognize and discern unique and compelling elements and create key messages.
  • To ensure content is making an impact, leverages data to calibrate messages and content to ensure effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of related professional experience in marketing is required; agency experience a plus.
  • Comfortable with data analysis
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar and punctuation.
  • Strong storytelling abilities, capable of transforming complex information into clear and concise narratives.
  • Knowledge of content marketing principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO strategies and keyword research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in content creation and marketing.
