The Strategy & Content team is responsible for the design, development, and execution of strategic initiatives, with a focus on driving product innovation, content creativity, and audience growth.

We’re looking for a Content Strategy & Analytics Manager to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Content Strategy team, you will craft and lead data-driven strategies to help grow engagement on user-generated-content on Snapchat in the Americas. You’ll collaborate closely with various XFN stakeholders – Creator Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Programming, and Business Development –to ensure Creators can build, monetize and maintain a large and engaged audience for their content on Snapchat.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct quantitative analysis of UGC consumption in the Americas on Snapchat to inform best practices, growth opportunities and strategic decisions

  • Pitch projects, A/B tests, and product innovations designed to stimulate content engagement growth

  • Lead XFN initiatives that support and drive forward our creator ecosystem

  • Develop data-driven strategies and KPIs for new UGC initiatives and programs

  • Lead off-platform analysis to inform UGC strategy

  • Develop detailed understanding of user behaviors and tastes in the US and partner with Product, Creator Partnerships and BD teams to improve our offering based on those insights

  • Develop and package recommendations for communication to Snapchat leadership

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of SQL 

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

  • Advanced experience in Excel and ability to translate data findings into digestible reporting for leadership

  • Great business judgment

  • Strong written and visual communication skills

  • Ability to consolidate findings and communicate analysis to executives in a clear and concise manner

  • Intellectual curiosity

  • Have an open mind to pick up new analytical techniques as require

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, banking, quantitative analysis, data science or a related field

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in scripting with SQL and/or extracting large sets of data in an unstructured environment 

  • MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as; Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Sciences preferred

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery

  • Prior experience with digital media, especially creator ecosystem

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $205,000 - $295,000 annually.

  • Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - $280,000 annually.

  • Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $174,000 - $251,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
