Content Writer

The Opportunity:

As a Senior Content Writer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's brand narrative and enhancing our digital presence. You'll be responsible for delivering compelling content that resonates with tech founders, investors, and industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop in-depth articles, reports, and whitepapers focused on SaaS, M&A, and private equity trends. Blend technical proficiency with creative storytelling.
• Lead the development of multimedia content, including podcasts and video scripts, offering valuable insights into the private equity world.
• Maintain and evolve the firm's brand voice across all platforms, ensuring consistency and engagement with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends and translate complex financial concepts into accessible content.
• Understanding the unique needs and interests of our primary audience segments - tech founders, investors, and industry professionals - is crucial. The content will need to be meticulously tailored to resonate with these groups, providing them valuable insights, industry analysis, and thought-provoking perspectives.
• Working closely with the marketing and communications team, to develop and implement content strategies that align with our business goals. 

Required Skills:

• Exceptional writing and editing skills;
• Extreme attention to detail in both written and visual contexts; and
• Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working across different teams or with subject matter experts to inform and produce content.

Experience and Education:

• Experience: 3-7 years in content writing, preferably in private equity, financial services, or tech startup environment.
• Degree in any discipline – Communications, Marketing or Technology a bonus;
• Creative individual and enthusiastic self-starter focused on delivering results;
• Proven ability to complete projects to high standards and in an appropriate and timely manner;
• Knowledge of AP Style;
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or InDesign a plus; and
• Knowledge or experience writing about finance or related industries a plus.

Salary: $55k-$85k pa OTE
