Content Writer

Job description 

ICF Next is one of Europe’s leading integrated communication agencies, specialising in large-scale campaigns across the European Union.

We are seeking a talented and motivated writer and researcher to join our dynamic content team. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging content for events, researching and identifying potential speakers, and possessing a strong understanding of EU policies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

• Investigate EU event topics to support the creation of event’s agenda 
• Identify key speakers and policy experts as contributors to events
• Research engaging stories to promote the event topics to target audiences
• Write and edit top-notch content in English mostly for digital platforms
• Research, analyse, and conduct interviews
• Cover events for producing live content
• Meet clients to understand his communication needs and translate them into effective messaging 
• Brief other writers 
• Make sure all content is accurate and high-quality and meet the project’s objectives
• Join a friendly and smart team.

WHO YOU ARE

• Native level English speaker or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a writer or journalist
• You have a knack for storytelling and know how to create content that grabs attention and resonates with audiences
• You love to simplify complex issues and make things easy to understand
• You are detailed oriented but keeping an eye on the big picture with clear objectives in mind
• You are knowledgeable when it comes to EU policies and EU decision-making process
• You are proficient in SEO & analytics, UX basics, social media copywriting
• You’re not afraid of making the best of AI tools opportunities, and you’re up to date with inbound marketing trends
• Previous experience in a communication agency or within the EU institutions is a plus
