Content Writer

We are looking for a talented writer to join our Communications team and support content creation across our website, our social media channels, and our customer communications. This role will report directly to the Senior SEO Manager and work closely with the Engagement and Communications Associate. You would play a central role in communicating with our customers and potential customers globally whilst championing the Capital on Tap brand across all of our online channels.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials including product pages, blog and social media posts, press releases, and newsletters
• Assist with SEO optimization, keyword research, optimizing copy to target relevant keywords, and driving traffic from organic search 
• Edit and publish content to the content management system (CMS) and social media platforms
• Collaborate with members of the team to identify new content opportunities and develop editorial and social media calendars

What do we require?

• Proven experience and ability in writing - personal blogs, social media, marketing copy, etc
• Strong writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to meet deadlines, prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively
• Experience with content management systems (desired)
• Understanding of SEO (desired)
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a relevant field (nice to have)
