Contingent Worker - Technical Business Analyst

I. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Support technical business analysis for the technology operations readiness workstreams to accomplish the following projects..

OCC is seeking an individual who would be responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of internal and external sources, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. This individual will be03312023 a proven change agent that demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems through logical, digestible solutions that deliver key value to our stakeholders

Splunk Business Dashboards: This role will source requirements from different teams and product owners. Documenting these requirements and working with the logging and monitoring team in building the business related dashboards. The role would also need to work with the UI/UX team to design the look and feel of the business dashboards

Splunk Alerting and Monitoring: Review the current Splunk alerts, document requirements and use cases for these alerts, build out additional Splunk alerts for both new technology and business products.

II. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Ability to understand technology and data transfer mechanisms between environments (AWS and On-Prem)
• Ability to understand regulatory controls and build processes for change management
• Ability to work with both the business and the technology teams.
• Identify scope gaps and missing requirements by acquiring an in depth understanding of current state (i.e., legacy system) and future state. 
• Identify product team dependencies and plan for resolution.
• Prepare for and lead requirement workshop discussions with vendor, stakeholders and product owners.
• Support or develop test plans and test cases; participate in test results verification.
• Participate in the final UAT following product deployment.
• Assist in building cross-team collaboration and define acceptance criteria for integrated components.
• Adhere to analysis best practices for epics and user stories.
• Perform requirements analysis, story decomposition, system integration analysis, and data flow design.
• Regularly engage in agile activities including sprint planning and backlog grooming. Act as an advisor to the Product owner regarding next steps and approvals.
• Build high quality user stories and acceptance criteria; work with scrum team to refine user stories.

Skills:

• Experience using Confluence and Jira.
• Experience with Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery
• Experience with Non Functional requirements
• Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio.
• Knowledge of Microsoft tools and flow charting tools
• Knowledge and/or vested interest in cloud technologies; experience working with AWS.
• Experience with process build and process flows
• Experience with data transfer tools a plus.
• Experience with Service Now a plus
