Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

What your background should look like:

Organize and plan the operation advantage projects, and providing technical support to project teams with the objective of meeting Qingdao factory's cost reduction target requirements within Qingdao TEOA's strategy and plan.

Project Implementation
Organize, and Coordinate necessary resources to establish projects teams and push projects implementation; analyze projects deliverables and guide the implementation procedure; follow up projects implementation progress; provide technical suggestions to concrete issues; and collect projects savings and report the projects achievement to top management in order to ensure a smooth flow of project implementation.
Project Preparation
(i) Organize, and implement operation advantage projects (incl. 5S+1, VSM, Visual Factory, Standard Work, QCPC, TPM, Quick Change Over, Mistake Proofing, Cell Design, Material Replenishment & Flow, 3P, 6 Sigma, VOC,etc);
(ii) Participate in and support to draft the project plans; provide feasibility suggestions on them
(iii) Involve in concrete projects meeting(Such as kick-off, periodical review and wrap-up); and
(iv) Organize, plan and implement TEOA tools & awareness training
in order to meet the company's operation advantage project targets
Operation Standardization
Participate, and support the accomplishment of the operational standardization work; and evaluate projects achievements and drive the horizonal development in order to achieve a durable deployment of project achievements.
Digital Factory Development
Lead and support the construction of the digital factory; Have digital factory concept to implement lean tools and surport value stream transformation.Lead and drive the digital tools application in order to achieve digital value creation.
Project Diagnosis
Participate, and set the projects diagnosis reports in order to ensure the disgnosis accuracy
Policies and Procedures
Execute TE's TEOA policies, procedures and systems in order to provide working guidelines and direction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in engineering;
• 5 years work experience in manufacturing industry
• English read and wiritten skill.
• Have been trained as Lean Practationer.
• Communication and coordination skills, problem-solving skill, Project management skills, cost sensitivity
