Develop sustainable improvements through engagement of a team- based servant leadership approach, strong technical knowledge, and proper use of continuous improvement tools.

- Coach people in lean methodology and CI mindset utilizing kaizen, lean training and exercises/demonstrations.
- Lead and influence others through improvement activities/events with a project team or by themselves, executing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Effectively manages organizational change of process improvements and is a passionate advocate for implementing CI methodologies
- Facilitates CI workshops including preparing agendas, group activities, documents and training content
- Provide assistance to production personnel in implementing improvement ideas and other resources they may need
- Responsible for the identification, development and implementation of process improvements and best practices focused on improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity (Labor and Material).
- Process mapping, value stream mapping, and identifying inefficiencies in business and manufacturing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
- Facilitate financial justification for new projects.
- Ensures follow-up on improvement events are completed and realized gains are maintained. This includes scheduling and facilitating on-going status reviews with all vested parties.

- Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience: Expected:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing or process environment using continuous improvement techniques/tools (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, 5S, JIT, etc.)
- Training and coaching experience
- Strong communication skills - shop floor through management
- Creative thought process
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Lean Certification
- Leadership experience
- Project Management
- Financial justification
- Strong computer skills
