While reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will have responsibility for assisting in completion of the development of our 5s program and a successfully executed launch in all 3 sites by 7/31/23.
Job Functions:
- Receive training in tools and techniques including but not limited to 5s principles
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities in 5s
- Collaborate with cross functional groups on problem solving for improvements in 5s
- Create and maintain standardized work documents for the 5s program
- Excellent written and verbal communications; and work-related instruction skills
Requirements
Education Required:
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Prefer college classes taken in any engineering discipline, operational excellence or business management field.
Range of Experience:
- College level engineering or business track
Preferred Qualifications:
- Beginner level Experience with a mixture of safety, continuous improvement and operations leadership
- Experience with Problem Solving/5S/TPM background
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
