We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager. The CI Manager is responsible for establishing systems to implement continuous improvement practices and projects through the implementation of Lean Methodologies and a Six Sigma as well as reducing the Cost of Poor Quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading optimization and savings projects for the plant.
  • Supervision of timeliness, budgeting, scope, and resources on projects to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Managing of Process Technicians and Engineers may be required.
  • Improvement and optimization of material flow.
  • Evaluating of employee ideas how to make a plant better in Lean Manufacturing and implementation their ideas.
  • Supervision of improvement OEE in lines.
  • Ensures and encourages a safe working environment by promoting safety and environmental compliance with all safety rules and procedures in the department and conducting prompt and thorough accident investigations.
  • Promotes continuous improvement in safety and environmental areas.
  • Enforces plant rules and procedures.
  • Ensures that all quality requirements for the customer are achieved.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with machine vision system development & integration.
  • 6 Sigma experience.
  • Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Project management skills.
