What you will do

Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering and Continuous Improvement Department.

How you will do it

• Implement Flow/Lean manufacturing practices measured through
• Reduced cycle time and improved inventory turns.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for cost reductions in warranty, scrap and quality.
• Introduce capital projects and coordinate budget and planning per AOP.
• Address capacity demands and resource allocation per product line.
• Promote working relationships and communications with all Departments.
• Operate within budget and contribute to the overall reduction of Overhead and expenses.
• Align with EEO and AAP goals and employee development by Promoting training activities and opportunities for all employees.

What we look for

• Five Years leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment with normal mechanical and analytical ability.
• Past experience and demonstrated performance in a related position may qualify in lieu of B.S. Degree.
• The person in this role should be proficient with use of computer and software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt desired
