This role has been designated as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

SUMMARY:

The Continuous Improvement Manager leads a team of experts to engage in the project management lifecycle to map out workflows, remove waste and low-value activities, and recommend solutions across HPE Services. Guided by formal methodologies like kaizen, this position will lead in implementing changes, acting as a leader to kaizen experts and mentoring throughout different areas of HPE Services. The ultimate responsibility is to identify and improve the outcomes of business processes to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as an internal consultant, develop short- and long-term strategies for the organization while incorporating Lean/Six Sigma and other practices to facilitate progress and reduce costs in sales and workflow inefficiencies.
  • Drive change across the organization by analyzing existing processes
  • Participate in internal audits and the auditing of Root Cause analysis reports related to product consistency, customer complaints, and internal off-spec investigations.
  • Participate in Kaizen Audits to help eliminate opportunities for reoccurrence.
  • Work closely with Project Management Infrastructure and Project Managers to ingrain the process engineering and value capture mindset into HPE Services projects and programs.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in a related field and 10+ years' experience in Continuous Improvement Principles required. Black Belt Six-Sigma Certification is preferred.
  • Experienced in training and implementing Lean in a working environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, internal email, stakeholder correspondence, managers, etc.
  • Excellent team leadership and coaching skills
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong customer focus and work ethic of seeking continual improvement.
  • Must be team-oriented and work well with teams representing all areas of HPE Services and beyond.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
