All about the role:
In this role you will be reporting to the EMS Director for NorthAmerica and will be based out of our North American Headquarters in Charlotte,NC. You will drive the EMS deployment across the North America Operations.
What you'll do:
You will implement the lean tools and standard to achieve theobjectives for quality, cost, safety, deliveries and environmental sustainability.You will also ensure all EMS training and improvement activities are accordingto the globally defined standards. Additionally, you will ensure training forChange Agents and sponsors within factories.
Other responsibilities may include:
Ensure that the lean certification processes are adhered tostandards and targets.• Promote lean manufacturing best practice sharing across operation includingbenchmarking with other companies in the field of lean manufacturing.• EMS point of contact for external organizations.• Co-drive the EMS cultural change motivating and empowering all employees.• Drive the Value Stream Mapping deployment in all plants to ensure thefoundations of the CI workshop.

Required Qualifications:• University degree in Lean Manufacturing/ Logistics/ Supply Chain/Production/ Project Management.• 5 years minimum experience leading lean implementation and cultural change ina manufacturing environment.• 5+ years' experience in Lean, Lean sigma or similar (5S, Waste Elimination,Visual Management, Standardized Work, Teaming, Problem Solving, SetupImprovement, TPM, Jidoka, Value Stream Mapping, etc.• 3+ years' experience in Lean material flow (Inbound Logistics, Plan for EveryPart, Kanban, Supermarkets, hiejunka, mixed model flow, Single Piece Flow,etc.)• Min. 5 years of implementation Lean Manufacturing projects and demonstrateproject management (also remote) skills.• Fully proficient in English both verbal and written.• Willing and able to travel extensively.
