Continuous Improvement Specialist

General Information:

Manufacturing Process Definition & Improvement focuses on manufacturing operational improvement and cost savings to improve the organization's profitability and efficiency including: Analyze designs, methods and internal manufacturing processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency. Implement process improvements and changes in product design and manufacturing methods.
• Implements continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.)
• Other Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Your Background:

• High school diploma / GED required 1-5 years experience preferred.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
