Continuous Improvement Specialist

You will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.

Job Summary

As the Continuous Improvement Specialist, reporting to the Continuous improvement Manager, you will teach CPS (TPM) standards such as AM and lead teams through Autonomous Maintenance Development steps 0-3. Leading the AMD Pillar, you will be the plant resource for AMD and help train and develop teams to promote AMD (Autonomous Manufacturing Development) throughout the plant. You will use continuous Improvement tools, methodologies, standards, and processes to eliminate waste and reduce downtime. You will work with teams to reduce or eliminate waste in processes and unplanned downtime on the machinery. As part of the CPS group, you will exceed goals and sustained results through Autonomous Maintenance Development and DMS.

Position Responsibilities

• You will comply with all company safety procedures and complying with all OSHA rules and regulations. (THINK SAFETY FIRST.)
• You will follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene.
• You will teach, coach, and implement AMD standards which will in turn reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, and increase efficiencies which support overall plant goals.
• You will facilitate AMD Pillar team meetings to ensure team member accountability and project deadlines
• You will exceed goals set by you and your manager to implement AMD throughout the plant
• You will track project cost savings (Conagra Cost Reductions)

Position Qualifications

• Knowledge of TPM/Autonomous Maintenance.
• Previous experience working in Food Manufacturing
• Root Cause Analysis.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related disciplined preferred.
