Continuous Improvement Specialist - Gainesville, GA

We're looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist leading for performance improvement within assigned areas on factories, thus positively impacting business shape, minimizing environmental impact, and delivering company's social commitment.

What are we looking for?

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of direct experience

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Adept and experienced in problem solving
  • Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint and the Microsoft Suite
  • Production leadership experience
  • Maintenance Experience or background preferred
  • Green belt certification or experience is a plus

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Identify and develop actions to address production loss(s)
  • You'll review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities
  • You'll estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control
  • You will make draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer
  • You'll coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs
  • You'll carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis or information, the specification of the methods, process steps, and the plant
  • You'll contribute to the development of and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
  • You'll carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures
  • You'll deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers
