Job Overview

As part of the Business Strategy and Transformation organization, this position plays a critical role in the implementation and success of long-term objectives within the AD&M business unit and our TE Operational Advantage-TEOA TEam. This role will be responsible for engaging with multiple functions within the business and provides a great opportunity to gain business knowledge & insight in a high-visibility role within the organization. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated strength in collaboration & task execution.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following and may vary based on candidate experience:
  • Leading and/or supporting projects in service of delivering annual strategic priorities
  • Support key business & strategy reporting cadence(s) through data collection, analysis, and/or presentation development
  • Develop business update & communication materials
  • The role will support activities undergoing Continuous Improvement transformations at the site as prioritized at the Critical Projects Review aligned with the plant deployment strategy and the start level target evolution and certification.
  • Account for Monthly reporting of Continuous Improvement KPIs
  • Manage and control individual project teams and deployment plans at both site and functional levels.
  • Develop skill levels of site personnel in order to implement and sustain Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor progress against plans and achievement of continuous improvement and progression to higher star assessment levels & Strategy deployment target
  • Lead the value stream project teams, develop value stream maps and execute the Continuous Improvement implementation plan for specific value streams to achieve the plant level Continuous Improvement metrics and goals whilst ensuring alignment to the business unit strategy.
  • Create, plan, drive and follow-up of the Continuous Improvement implementation plan and ensure Continuous Improvement actions are visual to stakeholders and are driven to a sustainable closure.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement Kaizen events throughout the site.
  • Provide leadership on lean thinking, lean processing, and lean production.
  • Train team members, management, and staff in all Continuous Improvement Foundations, TEOA and Center Of Excellence tools.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, business development, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Previous hands-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping and implementing TEOA tools. Lead minimum 15 Kaizen events with proven results in at least following areas: 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business / project update presentation development.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a team, preferably in a remote (virtual) environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Black Belt preferred ®

Requirements

  • This position will require Travel up to 30% of time
  • This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $70,160-$105,240 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
