About the Job

As our Contract Management, Senior Associate, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline operations and key processes for contracting at Redesign. In the short-term, you will be responsible for administering our contract processes with an eye toward implementing a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software system and working closely with the Legal Operations Lead and external stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation. You will interface with other key members of our Legal, Policy & Compliance team, Vendor Management, Strategy & Finance, and various stakeholders across the organization. This position will provide you with significant opportunities for creativity, directional setting, cross-functional collaboration and career development. 

You will report to our Legal Operations Lead out of our New York City headquarters (or remotely).

What you’ll do:
  • Own and administer Redesign Health’s end-to-end contract request and approval process, which includes contract intake, review, revision, negotiation, execution and filing
  • Reroute contract requests to other members of the Legal, Policy & Compliance Department or internal and external stakeholders as appropriate
  • Implement and manage Redesign Health’s contract lifecycle management systems and other document management databases that house contractual agreements
  • Manage delegations of signature authority submitted to the Legal, Policy & Compliance Department by other business units in accordance with Redesign’s signature authority process
  • Identify opportunities for contract process improvements and system enhancements
  • Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficiency and compliance with the contract process
What you’ll need:
  • You have 3+ years of professional experience, preferably coming from the health or tech industry
  • You are experienced with contract management software(s)
  • You have experience working in a cross-functional manner, particularly with finance, legal and procurement functions
  • You have experience collaborating with alternative legal service providers (ALSP) such as Ontra, SuperLegal, or similar
  • You hold a bachelor's degree 
What you’ll bring to the table:
  • You have experience drafting, negotiating and executing a variety of vendor agreements
  • You are capable of organizing and prioritizing a large number of competing documentation assignments to meet stakeholder needs
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and the ability to efficiently prioritize and exercise sound judgment
  • You have strong organizational skills and fanatical attention to detail
  • You have strong proficiency with Google Suite, Adobe, Microsoft Word, DocuSign, and Monday.com
