About the role
As a Contract Manager at Enavate, you'll play a critical role in overseeing our entire contract lifecycle. From drafting and reviewing terms to negotiating agreements, you'll handle all client and vendor contracts, and collaborate closely with outside counsel as a coordinator for matters related to employment, litigation, etc. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring compliance, managing contract renewals, and swiftly resolving any issues that arise.
Building robust relationships with stakeholders is essential in this role. By doing so, you'll keep us well-informed on legal matters and ensure seamless operations company-wide. Your dedication will be instrumental in safeguarding Enavate's interests and nurturing an environment conducive to our continued growth.

Your day will consist of:
- Drafting and Reviewing Contracts:
- Contract managers are responsible for creating, reviewing, and amending contracts related to the purchase or sale of goods and services. They ensure that these contracts accurately reflect the terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties.
- Negotiating Contract Terms:
- When dealing with vendors, clients, or other business partners, contract managers engage in negotiations. They work to find mutually beneficial terms, balancing the interests of their employer with those of the other party.
- Monitoring Compliance:
- Once contracts are in place, contract managers keep a watchful eye on compliance. They ensure that all parties adhere to the agreed-upon terms, deadlines, and obligations. If any issues arise, they address them promptly.
- Managing Contract Renewals and Modifications:
- Contracts have lifecycles, and contract managers oversee the entire process. This includes renewing contracts when necessary, making modifications, and handling any extensions.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships:
- Effective contract management involves fostering positive relationships. Contract managers interact with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders. These connections help facilitate smoother negotiations and collaboration.
- Document Management:
- Keeping track of contract-related documents and correspondence is essential. Contract managers organize and maintain records, ensuring easy access when needed.
- Presenting Contract Information:
- Whether it’s sharing updates with stakeholders or explaining contract terms to team members, contract managers communicate contract information effectively.
- Troubleshooting Contract-Related Problems:
- If there’s a breach of contract or any other issue, contract managers step in to resolve it. Their goal is to minimize risks and protect their organization’s interests.
- Compliance with Legal Requirements:
- Staying informed about changes in relevant rules and regulations is crucial. Contract managers ensure that their employer complies with legal standards in all contractual matters.
- Risk Mitigation:
- Identifying and mitigating risks is part of a contract manager’s job. They proactively assess potential pitfalls and take steps to safeguard the organization.
