Contract Operations Specialist
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director, Legal Operations, the Contract Operations Specialist will join a dynamic team
responsible for the entire contract lifecycle, beginning with consultancy on how to create a contract through to the
management of executed contracts, ensuring the correct processes are established and followed using the newest
legal technology tools. You will help identify, implement and support opportunities to optimize the operations of our
agile and responsive in-house legal function, supporting our hypergrowth business. Are you an independent worker

Primary Responsibilities:
- Validating all incoming contracts, supporting the correct booking of the deals.
- Coordinating contract amendment process, including drafting of basic amendments.
- Conducting research, and creating reports based on relevant contract metadata.
- Supporting the implementation of and compliance with a contract deviation process.
- Responding to questions around our contractual obligations.
- Identifying and supporting process improvement projects (including tools implementation
projects) within the Legal team. - Assisting with operational processes focused on the management of outside counsel and other
suppliers. - Supporting the organization and management of Legal department knowledge and records.
- Assistance with the analysis, tracking and reporting of Legal team statistics.
- Preparation of email correspondence, presentations, and internal and external communications, as
requested. - Handling of confidential and highly-sensitive information with professionalism and
unquestionable integrity. - Conducting other Legal and ad hoc projects as required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Close attention to detail, well-organized and adept at working in a fast-paced, high volume
environment. - High energy, strong communication skills and a positive attitude are critical.
- Confidence in working and troubleshooting with minimal oversight.
- High level of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness and uncompromising ethical standards.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, escalate appropriately and multi-task.
- Strong skill set working with office applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce,
Adobe, Docusign and Google Workspace. - Experience with contracts management software and electronic signature systems.
Education/Experience:
- Prior experience in legal operations, contract operations or contract administration positions.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Business Law or Law.
