Zayo is a dynamic and rapidly growing telecom company dedicated to connecting what's next. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a skilled Contract Recruiter to join us on a temporary basis.
*We're open to our Contract Recruiter working in a remote capacity within the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Recruit top talent and achieve hiring goals.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to create effective job descriptions; post to internal and external job boards.
  • Guide Hiring Managers through the recruitment process and provide the appropriate tools when needed.
  • Drive recruiting activities to ensure a strong pool of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Screen and present qualified candidates to Hiring Managers.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with Hiring Managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Manage employee and applicant inquiries and claims, responding with tact and resourcefulness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) - Workday.
  • Assist in coordinating interviews and feedback sessions between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in recruitment-related projects as needed.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment; proven experience within the telecommunication industry preferred.
  • Proven track record for finding top talent.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting and the ability to flex between business segments (Operations, Service Delivery, IT, Product, Sales).
  • Extreme attention to detail, superior data accuracy, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with G Suite, LinkedIn, Indeed and Workday.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate and effective conveyance of information.
  • Ability to connect quickly and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment; ability to drive to push tasks over the finish line.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Base pay range: $50-$60/hr, commensurate with experience.
*This is a contract position with an estimated duration of 3 - 6 months. An opportunity for a full-time benefited position may be available in the future.
