We are looking for a Contract Recruiter to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As a Contract Recruiter, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment including developing and implementing sourcing strategies to attract the best talent to Element, as well as driving the recruitment process and facilitating selection decisions. The Recruiter has significant impact on the business by adding to/expanding the total talent capabilities of the organization. Additionally, legal compliance is critical to minimize legal risk associated with recruitment and selection. Your recruitment portfolio will include professional roles across our business functions. You will support roles based in Canada and the U.S. You'll need to leverage your critical thinking skills to adjust your recruitment strategy to reflect regional differences.
A Day in the Life
- Ensuring best-in-class hiring manager experience by consulting with hiring managers to identify and understand responsibilities, job specifications, qualifications and required skills, knowledge, and abilities for positions at all levels (entry level to senior leadership) and clearly defining roles and expectations in the recruitment life cycle.
- Managing full-cycle recruitment from sourcing all the way through to day 1 employment (e.g., sourcing, interviewing, drafting offer letter, conducting background checks, etc.)
- Focusing on the candidate experience, determine what is important to the candidate and effectively articulate Element’s value proposition as an employer of choice.
- Growing the Element employment brand through social media, internal and external communication, outreach (job fairs, relationship building with colleges, public organizations, etc.) and related efforts
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in business or related field required or in lieu of a degree 5+ years’ experience in an HR discipline or similar.
- 3+ years relevant experience, with demonstrated success in a recruitment role in a B2B services environment strongly preferred.Â
- Prior experience in recruiting for professional positions (Finance, Legal, Operations, etc.) and working in an AAP compliant recruitment environment helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of employment law related to recruitment and selection and best practices in utilizing ATS (Workday) to manage requisition and candidate information.
