Contract Specialist

The Contract Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining State and Federal Contracts across all regions to support business conducted within state, federal, cities, municipalities, and education entities that utilize the various contracts AHEAD currently holds as well as onboarding of future contracts. 

Responsibilities:

• Collect and report upon monthly and/or quarterly sales as required by each contract 
• Update customer and contract changes inside ServiceNow 
• Ensure correct service dates by contract 
• Track expiring contract dates and consult Business Operations Manager 
• Enter finalized contracts into a central repository where authorized people in the organization can access them for reference or quoting purposes. 
• Other items as assigned relating to business operations 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience. 
• 2 - 3 years of working with various state and federal contracts preferred – in the Technology Industry is preferred 
• History of working in a high volume, fast-paced environment required 
• Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to work with and easily calculate margin percentages using cost+, list-, and flat GPM% models 
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred 
• Experience with ServiceNow 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate needs 
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external clients 
• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision 
• Work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
