- Eligibility Verification (E-Verify) Program: DCAA uses E-Verify to determine eligibility for employment as a U.S. Citizen.
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Drug Testing: This is a drug testing designated position. You must pass a drug test before your assignment to this position and you will be subject to random drug testing subsequent to your assignment.
- Pay for first time hires to the Federal Government will typically be set at step 1 salary range for their respective grade level.
- Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
Qualifications
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, qualified applicants must possess:
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-12 within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is: Applying procurement regulations and procedures for contracting, utilizing various contracting methods and types for pre and post award actions. Experience in analyzing complex issues and identifying alternatives, evaluating sources and proposals, conducting cost and price analysis, advising on acquisition planning, and ensuring clarity of terms and proper allocation of funds.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Certification (DAWIA): You must have achieved DAWIA Level 3 certification in Contracting or alternatively, you must have the ability to obtain the required certification for this position within 24 months of appointment.
