YOUR DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create 1-3 weekly thumbnails for our IRL YouTube channels
• Generate unique and creative ideas for thumbnails that will drive the YouTube audience to click on our videos
• Utilize photoshop and photo manipulation mastery in order to create realistic composites
• Coordinate with the production team on how to capture the best assets possible including everything from framing, facial expressions, content of the photos, custom sets being coordinated/built by Art Department, and anything else regarding the creation of thumbnail assets
• Ensure deadlines are met 
• Stay up to date with current trends/best practices within the thumbnail space
• Utilize analytics and other data points to ensure optimal performance and interest for all thumbnails
• Create art including: avatars and characters, high quality custom text work, icons, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience creating YouTube thumbnails
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment creatively and effectively
• Rockstar interpersonal skills to ensure the ability to collaborate with varied levels of management, peers, and talent across varying teams
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple platforms

TBNR’s targeted freelance rate for a Thumbnail Designer depends on experience, expertise, internal equity within the organization, location, and alignment with market data.
