Position Overview:

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process at a high growth startup. This role will require strong Engineering recruitment expertise (managing up to 10 reqs at a time initially) as we ramp up operations in Bangalore. This role is for a 3-6 month engagement with the ability to convert to full time.


Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle from req to onboarding
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the US HR team to define hiring objectives and strategies.
  • Prepare job postings and manage requisitions to initiate the recruiting process.
  • Conduct Intake Meetings with hiring teams to align on candidate profiles, goals, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to source top talent for our growing Engineering team. 
  • Review resumes and establish a candidate pool that meets the hiring team's requirements.
  • Conduct thorough behavioral interviews to assess candidates’ fit based on established criteria.
  • Utilize market expertise and data to educate and influence hiring managers
  • Providing regular status updates to hiring managers. 
  • Source top-tier talent for immediate needs and proactively build a candidate pipeline for future demands.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and internal team members. Manage feedback 
  • Develop strategic working relationships with recruitment partners, hiring managers, and other teams across the org
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics in our Applicant Tracking System (Lever).
  • Obtain approvals and extend offers of employment and support candidates through the initial onboarding process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience Engineering recruiting (full cycle), preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience successfully managing high volume recruiting; Proven track record of successfully carrying a req load of 10-15 reqs
  • Proficiency in HRIS, ATS and other HR-related technologies (ex. Lever, Rippling) including familiarity of using AI tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to use metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, demonstrating a willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Must be willing and able to work evening hours to accommodate meetings and collaboration with US-based hiring managers and HR team.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
