We are seeking a contracting associate who is excited to embrace new technology and join a fast-growing startup. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our advisors are in good standing to submit business to our carriers.

What you'll do:

• Check licensing, appointment, and contracting status with the carrier using carrier portals, emails, and calls
• Communicate training, licensing, commission, and other requirements to advisors
• Check and submit required paperwork to the carrier
• Answer questions from advisors over the phone and email
• Occasional special projects such as keeping our carrier resources up to date

About you:

• 2+ years of experience in the life insurance industry
• Experience working directly with advisors who produce life insurance
• Track record of success in a fast-paced, customer service environment

A bonus if you have:

• Experience using contracting systems such as SureLC or agency management systems such as Agency Integrator
• Experience at a brokerage that handles life insurance, annuities, disability insurance, or long-term care insurance
• Case management or commissions experience
• Experience at a technology startup
