phData is hiring for an experienced Contracts Administrator to play a leading role in phData’s growing company. The Contracts Administrator will report to the Corporate Counsel and be an essential part of the team responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and administering customer contracts.Â
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient completion of various types of contracts, including Nondisclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contracts and agreements for which phData’s Contracts Team is responsible.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer the contracts, as well as maintain, organize, and work through a queue of contracts while practicing prioritization and efficiency.Â
- Work most closely with the Sales team, as well as Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other departments, as needed.
- Provide support and advice to the Sales team on deal process and contract negotiation and management.
- Learn phData’s internal structures and processes, service and product offerings, technology, security and data protection systems, and policies and procedures to give the Contracts Administrator a foundation for providing support across phData’s lines of business.
- Must have a shared interest in phData’s Core Values and the ability to work in accordance with those Core Values.Â
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS plus 2-3 years contract administration reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and/or analyzing complex technology contracts with or for Fortune 500 companies is preferred. Â
- Experience with contracts such as Master Services Agreements or SaaS Agreements.
- Knowledge of business processes relating to commercial contract practices.
- In-depth understanding of contract law and requirements.Â
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate contract approval and negotiate contracts with customers and vendors while maintaining contractual compliance with legal terms and conditions, including demonstrated ability to successfully work with sales teams and customer negotiations.Â
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.Â
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.Â
- Demonstrated ability to handle interruptions, prioritize workload, follow up, and meet deadlines.Â
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.Â
- Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Â
- Excellent judgment and ability to work independently, but escalate issues and seek sign-off or guidance appropriately.Â
- Self-directed with the ability to drive results and set priorities proactively and positively.Â
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support global customers.Â
- Proficiency in all Google Drive products and Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- JD, Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience.Â
- Experience working in a technology company (either professional services, consulting, or SaaS-based organization).
- Understanding of data security and privacy requirements.Â
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, a plus.
