Stoneridge Software is looking for a Contracts Administrator to lead our contracting process. We are seeking a client-centric and detail-orientated person who can collaborate across multiple departments and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. The Contracts Administrator Lead will work directly with the sales, delivery, and other internal teams to manage the contracts process from creation through final signatures. We are also looking for someone who can help streamline processes and leverage systems and tools to maximize efficiency and accuracy. In addition, this individual will support a variety of legal requests related to general business operations.

A Day in the Life

  • Primary accountability over all legal contracts with clients, partners, and vendors
  • Ownership of all legal contract templates, including tracking and making updates to templates as deemed necessary by the business
  • Ensure legal contract templates have adequate protection for Stoneridge and meet compliance requirements
  • Primary responsibility for contract reviews from clients and business partners (NDA, MSA, SOW, Support Agreements, Partner ISV or Referral Agreements, etc.), including reviewing redlines, client change requests, and participation in contract negotiations
  • Liaison directly with client, partner and vendor representatives, and legal counsel in contract negotiation escalations
  • Create visibility for any contract language changes or provisions that could create risk or a follow-up event
  • Track and catalog all approved contract changes and final agreements
  • Help streamline internal controls for all contracts; ensure fully executed agreements for all projects and provide visibility for any non-standard agreements that might have revenue recognition implications
  • Lead and support contract-related process improvement initiatives
  • Legal research and support on a variety of general business matters (i.e. legal entity and shareholder management, data privacy, insurance contracts portfolio, and other standard business topics, etc.)
  • Backup for DocuSign support

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of direct contract administration experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required, JD preferred
  • Strong understanding of contract law
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of business financial best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, DocuSign, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability and appetite to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Work Location: This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States.


    Travel: Limited travel is required for this role, outside of an occasional company function or training opportunity.

Compensation

  • Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.

  • US (USD): $80,000 - $101,500
