Contracts Assistant

Hive Group, LLC specializes in helping federal government agencies and local area government contractors plan, define, acquire and manage programs in support of operational needs and missions. We offer professional services that enable success of client missions through creative solutions delivered with high performing teams and Individuals in the Contracts, Procurement, Acquisition, and Finance areas. Hive Group is currently seeking an energetic, Junior to Level Contracts Assistant to support our clients' contracts team, on a temporary 2- 3-month basis. 
Job Description:
The Contracts Assistant will assist and manage the back-office administration and data entry for our clients' commercial contracts department, for their Utility Program Services and Advisory division. 
Note: This position can be remote a few days a week with (2) days being in the office in Reston, Virginia desired.
Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure maintenance of contracts documentation is consistent with established company practices.
• Maintain contracts information in a SharePoint contract repository, and a Contract Management System.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Familiarity and comfort with technology and able to pick up new applications quickly.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and a working knowledge of SharePoint.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle competing priorities with a positive attitude
• Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be a US Citizen
