Contracts Manager

At Meriplex, our Supply Chain is critical to the success of the company and will help deliver a robust Sourcing, Planning, and Contract Management process which is scalable as we continue to grow exponentially. In this role, you will be able to use excellent organizational skills to ensure we are maximizing our combined purchasing power to drive efficiencies across the organization. 

This role will be based in the Corporate office located in Houston, Texas, and will report to the VP of Supply Chain. Supply Chain personnel are based in multiple locations across the US and some travel may be required.

Make your mark at Meriplex by being the best at what you do. Following are the primary duties which will make an impact:

• Align with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure contracts accurately state deliverables and are set up in the ERP system properly.
• Review contracts to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Lifecycle management of the contracts from onboarding through offboarding (EOL).
• Create concise status reports.
• Develop an audit process of existing contracts whereby we ensure systematically the contracts match what is billed, ordered, etc.
• Sign all sales contracts on behalf of the company.
• Identify upcoming renewals/amendments and manage the contract process with Sales and Operations.
• Understanding of the technology market and how distributors (Ingram, SYNNEX, D&H, etc.) work with manufacturers (Dell, HP, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Legal and Supply Chain.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of contract administration experience
• ERP experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering (Experience in lieu will be considered)

• Proven ability to apply standard processes and manage multiple priorities

• Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Work Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the ability to have a flexible schedule due to work volume. The ability to travel up to 15% may be required based on requirements and location which might be outside of the Houston metro area.
